Nokia N95 8GB Slider Fix Guide
Unfortunately, the Slider shook at my Nokia N95 8 GB. I have gone myself on the troubleshooting. To Fix the Slider I would like to give you short guide here.
I call attention that the guarantee expires and I do not assume any liability for possible damages by these instructions. You do this at your own risk !
First the cover is raised slightly and revolved away still below with the thumb first.
- Raising cover a little bit
- careful down ache
- Nokia N95 without back covering
One makes himself on the search for the side with most vertical tolerance. By a T5 TORX screwdriver the lateral retaining channel clamps can be removed. Please remove carefully since the Slider has no more fastening on this side now!

- opening by a T5 Torx screwdriver
On the side with the most tolerance, you bend the clamp carefully by using a gripper.
Only a small bending is a enough to fixed my Slider. The Slider is moving a little bit stronger now!
Attention !
First only bend in one place because the other tolerances get also reduced !
- Bending the bracket a little bit. In this example the tolerance is reduced above on the right.
Result
I fixed the Nokia N95 8GB Slider in 15 Minutes.
